Did you find this review helpful? Yes or NoI have had this, along with its companion $33012107, since June 2009. They have held up terrifically -- especially with two rambunctious, dirt-loving, Siberian Huskies in the house.
The "greens" are much darker and the oranges are more muted, than the photo shows, but the reds are vibrant. There was some piling at first, but it did not affect the thickness, or overall appearance of the rug.
I have used my Hoover steam cleaner on them, several times (dogs!), without any problems. Just make sure that you extract as much water, as possible, if using one. There was no shrinkage, despite their being wool. Also, go for the better carpet pad. It's worth it.

Gabbeh
The Gabbeh is a very simple, unique, hand-woven tribal rug made in southern Iran and India. Its distinctive style is very well suited to modern and eclectic interiors. They are generally made with a thick, heavy pile combining large fields with the occasional geometric figure or animal silhouette. The natural vegetable and root dyes used make them bright and very lively.
